Amanda Dounis - Working with Kids: Unlocking Growth

Hey there, wonderful souls! I'm Amanda Dounis, and I'm absolutely thrilled to connect with you all through this platform. Today, I'm excited to open up and share a bit about myself, my journey, and the passions that drive me forward.

As the founder of four exceptional early learning centers in the vibrant city of Sydney, Australia – Banbury Cottage, Rainbow Cottage, Little Dolphins, and Babyland – and the Director of the esteemed Dounis Group, my dedication to nurturing growth and well-being extends far beyond the preschool years.

But my journey doesn't stop there. It's taken me to the creation of The Positive Thinking Clinic, a sanctuary where I practice a variety of therapeutic modalities including Psychotherapy, Hypnotherapy, Counseling, Coaching, Clinical Supervision, and Neurolinguistic Programming Mastery. Here, within this transformative space, I witness incredible metamorphoses as individuals of all ages embark on their unique paths to self-discovery and personal excellence.

From guiding young minds through their formative years to assisting senior students in navigating crucial exams and supporting adults on their journey of self-improvement, my commitment to fostering ongoing wellness development remains steadfast. The spectrum of personal growth is vast, encompassing everything from letting go and setting goals to reframing perspectives, transforming relationships, and exploring boundless creative possibilities.

I feel incredibly privileged to collaborate with fellow professionals and have been humbled by nominations for excellence, academic achievements, and small business awards. My dedication to excellence isn't just a passion; it's deeply rooted in my academic background, which includes three Bachelor Degrees, related Diplomas, and a perpetual pursuit of further education.

One of my fundamental values revolves around nurturing a growth mindset and embracing every experience as a unique opportunity for learning. Life's obstacles and triumphs, of which I've experienced my fair share, are viewed as essential parts of the journey, offering avenues for exploration and avenues for excelling in unexpected directions.

Embracing change has been pivotal in refining my expertise and expanding my businesses. I firmly believe in the wisdom that "it is when we are afraid to change that we make no progress," a lesson I learned firsthand many years ago. For me, change isn't just beneficial; it's imperative for growth and progress.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I am a devoted wife and mother to two amazing sons, surrounded by a loving entourage of dogs and a cat. Volunteering at Lifeline, a suicide crisis call center, allows me to give back and contribute to the well-being of others. Fitness plays a significant role in my life, and I've taken on numerous marathons and even tackled a couple of ultra marathons, finding personal fulfillment through balance and a zest for life.

Speaking of balance, I've discovered that integrating work into my holidays and maintaining a blend of professional development and personal enjoyment keeps me happily engaged and fulfilled. This approach has been instrumental in cultivating a thriving personal and professional life.

I invite you to join me. Let's embrace change, foster growth, and unlock the endless possibilities that await us on the path to personal excellence. Together, we can create a brighter, more fulfilling future—one step at a time >>> Website - www.positivethinkingclinic.com.au
