FAQ about CHA Membership

  • Who is eligible for CHA membership?

    Free / Basic Member: Anyone interested in joining the Peer Support Network, accessing the CHA members area and Discord, receiving event invitations, and attending monthly webinars. This tier is completely free. (Clinical Hypnosis Australia)

    Script Tier ($80/year): Adds access to scripts, audio resources, NLP pre‑talks, CBTs, and hypnosis books. Inherits all free member benefits. (Clinical Hypnosis Australia)

    Professional Tier ($140/year): Includes Script Tier benefits plus blog/video access, digital certificate, CHA logo usage, auto-registration to webinars, directory listing, and more. (Clinical Hypnosis Australia)

    Registered Member ($180/year): Includes everything above, plus a welcome pack, professional listing for health fund claims, unique registration number, access to recommended supervision, advanced resources and logo use. (Clinical Hypnosis Australia)

  • What are the supervision requirements?

    Annual supervision is mandatory for both Professional and Registered tiers. You must accumulate 12 hours of supervision per your registered year.

  • What happens if I don't meet my supervision requirements?

    Reach out to us to discuss options. We have the ability to offer extensions for catch up however, they are time limited. If supervision is not submitted you will be reduced to the PROFESSIONAL tier until the requirements are met. As stated, reach out to discuss options. We are here to support positive change.

  • Does supervision need to be in-person?

    No. Supervision can be conducted either online or in person.

  • What about ongoing professional development (OPD/CPD)?

    For Registered members, 20 OPD/CPD points per your registered year are required. Monthly CHA meetups offer 2 points each, and participants receive certificates for tracking.
